The inner workings of Antic - By Bennet (beipdev@yahoo.com) I = Instruction M = Missile (always on 112, V on top of M means V + M) P = Player A = Address R = Refresh C = Character Data G = Graphics Data (applies to data used to display characters too) V = Virtual Read (no DMA, but memory counter is incremented) 105 = Last cycle Antic does any DMA until Missiles WSYNC: When an STA WSYNC is executed, Antic takes 1 cycle to respond before halting the CPU. It releases WSYNC on cycle 105 on a scanline. This has the appearance of the CPU restarting on cycle 104, but it's really that you get 1 cycle after STA WSYNC and restarting on 105.
